There’s nothing that says summer like bright, delicious strawberries. I couldn’t be more excited for strawberry season and have been adding multiple pints to my cart every time I hit up Whole Foods. If you’ve ever wondered what to make with fresh strawberries, you’ve come to the right place.
Strawberries. In. EVERYTHING. They’re truly the best berries.
Most of these incredible strawberry recipes use fresh strawberries, but frozen strawberries are amazing this time of year, too!
How to freeze fresh strawberries
If you have lots of extra strawberries, you can easily freeze them by rinsing, halving, and then freezing them for smoothies and even delicious desserts like these crumble bars.
Tips for using frozen strawberries in baking
If you plan to bake with the frozen strawberries, I recommend letting the strawberries thaw and draining off the liquid before adding them to your recipe. You can also toss them in a little flour before baking with them so that the color doesn’t dye your baked treat.
Scroll through and get ready to take some of these healthy strawberry recipes to your next summer party! Your friends will be swooning — promise. Bonus points if you add a scoop of vanilla ice cream to any of the desserts. If you make any of these recipes, be sure to leave a comment and let me know how you liked it.

Strawberries in oatmeal, smoothies, and baked goods are the best! However, I NEED to try that strawberry and peanut butter quesadilla. It looks absolutely heavenly!
Agreed! And yes that quesadilla is amazing!
Those strawberry banana Greek yogurt waffles were bomb!! I’m very picky and as a Puerto Rican I need flavor. These were great !!! My daughter even liked them and she’s a sugar fiend
So happy to hear that! Glad they were kiddo-approved too 🙂
Strawberries are a versatile fruit and they taste great in all kinds of recipes. There are some great ones in your list!

Can’t wait to try. Love your suggestions on how to freeze or what to substitute if need me.
Glad they’re helpful! 🙂
Thank you for sharing the list! I love strawberries but have never made them into a dessert. I think I’m gonna try making some strawberry crumble bars tonight! Can’t wait!
