Our 56 chapters in the U.S., Canada and India provide members with space to create positive change in healthcare and collaborate with other HIMSS members.

Chapters bring together local members for a tailored experience specific to your region. Join one or multiple chapters to gain invaluable connections, insights, and career advancing opportunities. From attending networking events to taking on a leadership role, there’s more than one way to get involved with your local HIMSS Chapter.   • How HIMSS Members join or change a chapter

    Members can change their chapter of choice at any time.

    1. Log in and go to "View profile" (drop down under your username)
    2. Go to "Chapter & Community Participation" on the left side navigation
    3. Under "Opt out of Chapter Membership" Select "No"
    4. Select your chapter of choice
    5. Click "Submit"

  • How to add a chapter

    Members can change their chapter of choice at any time or join additional chapters for $39 each.

    1. Log in and go to "View profile" (drop down under your username)
    2. Under "Membership" on the top navigation bar select "Types and Benefits"
    3. Scroll down to Chapter section and click "Select Your Chapter Membership"
    4. Complete form and checkout

    Get connected by participating in events in your area. Through both in-person events and webinars, you can network with other experts and help create change in health tech.
