Taste was fantastic. But as I was cooking the pancakes they just kind of fall apart and don’t hold their shape at all and burn quickly. I turned down the heat to medium low and covered it to see if it would help it to firm up and cook on the inside and not burn the outside but that didn’t help either. Not sure what I’m doing wrong.

This smoothie is amazing. I’ve made it multiple times in the last few weeks. Used DF vanilla coffee creamer in place of milk to use it up and it hit the spot. Will be making again!!!

I’m so glad I doubled up on the recipe. It was a massive hit with my “bland” children who don’t like overbearing flavours, and also with my youngest child and elderly parents who all love strong and complex flavoured foods. I made my stock from scratch and used the chicken meat from that. I simmered the stock for 24 hrs but had removed the meat from the chicken after 2 hrs putting the bones and skin back into the stock. I think a stronger quality stock is the key to bringing out all the delicious flavours that are incorporated into this recipe.
