Healthcare Professional Development Committee

The Healthcare Professional Development Committee engages HIMSS members to develop tools, resources and content related to workforce and career development in health information and technology. We focus on professional development and lifelong learning initiatives designed to sustain all levels of stakeholders, ranging from early careerists to advanced professionals.

How can you participate?

Our committee consists of select HIMSS members who represent professional development and lifelong learning through both workforce and career initiatives. Committee members are selected by application only during the designated call for committee volunteers. Members must be in good standing with HIMSS and have the ability to serve a two-year term.
