The Emerging Healthcare Leaders Task Force amplifies our professional development offerings and creates a pipeline for students, the next generation of global health information and technology professionals and aspiring leaders. Our task force members represent a wide range of expertise across education, professional and workforce development sectors.
What We Do

How can you participate?
The task force is open to select HIMSS members who are dedicated to advancing the health ecosystem’s efforts around education, workforce and career development. Members serve on the task force for one calendar year; however, interested parties may be considered throughout the year. If you would like to join, send us an email with a brief introduction including your background, expertise and interests.
Activities
The task force meets monthly to discuss challenges and develop resources that benefit members at any career stage—whether they are students, young professionals or seasoned authorities moving into the next level of their career. The task force addresses needs for career preparation and advancement, including:
