    The HIMSS Future50 Community identifies, celebrates and connects top digital health leaders who have made significant contributions to digital health around the world. Members work alongside HIMSS and the global healthcare community to overcome systemic health challenges by addressing gaps and needs at the local and regional level.

    Every year, a new cohort of 50 top global leaders joins our community, with a tenure of one year. Alumni serve as leaders and mentors to inspire future generations of change.

    Our community of leaders from across the healthcare ecosystem influences the potential of digital health to improve health and wellness for all. We share expertise, collaborate over borders, and foster innovation both individually and collectively.

    HIMSS provides our community with a platform to connect and promote the progression of the global digital health agenda. Members have the opportunity to participate in dedicated activities and leverage their expertise as content leaders within the HIMSS framework on a discretionary basis. This may include collaboration opportunities with HIMSS publications and events, HIMSS individual membership for one year, and complimentary passes to year-round events.

    The Future50 Community incorporates digital health leaders who promote digital health agenda in all healthcare fields. Our members are broadly classified as:

    Clinical Leaders

    These leaders make significant contributions to the decision-making process to leverage technology and solutions. They make exceptional contributions in the field of clinical work, supported by information and technology tools, which lead to improvements in care delivery and positive outcomes for patients.

    Government Leaders

    These leaders work within public and civil service, make significant contributions to the development and implementation of healthcare policy, and help deliver results and steer change using information and technology within the public health sector. Their work shapes the future of care delivery on a national level.

    Health IT Leaders

    These leaders work at healthcare provider organizations and are champions of health information and technology. They identify and adopt digital strategy and enablers to drive transformational change, leading to improved health outcomes for patients.

    Innovation Leaders

    These leaders develop innovative solutions by harnessing emerging, disruptive and cutting-edge technology to address healthcare pain points.

    Patient Leaders

    These leaders are personally involved in the healthcare journey as patients. They are driven by their passion to advocate for meaningful healthcare causes and contribute significantly to improving care delivery in partnership with healthcare providers and policymakers.
