Enhance your skill set with our Healthcare IT Foundations course, jointly developed with Carnegie Mellon University's Open Learning Initiative. Get an overview of healthcare, health information technology and health information management systems, with a focus on the roles and responsibilities of entry-level healthcare IT specialists in each phase of the health information management systems lifecycle. Emerging Healthcare Leaders Poster Sessions
Apply to present a poster session to HIMSS Global Health Conference & Exhibition attendees. Designed like storyboards, poster sessions use graphics, charts and other eye-catching information to provide a visual summary of research, allowing presenters to speak in a more personalized, informal environment with smaller groups of attendees.
Applicants must be HIMSS members in good standing. Each proposed poster session topic must be aligned with a HIMSS Global Health Conference education topic. Should your proposal be selected, you will receive one (1) complimentary registration to the HIMSS Global Health Conference to present your poster.
The call for Emerging Healthcare Leaders Poster Proposals for the 2026 HIMSS Global Health Conference and Exhibition will open in the fall of 2025.
