Not all canned tomatoes are the same, so be sure to check out the recipe ingredients to know which ones to use. You’ll find recipes using:

Benefits of cooking with canned tomatoes
I love cooking with canned tomatoes because they’re extremely versatile, they come in tons of varieties and they’re super affordable. Tomatoes not only pack tons of antioxidants and vitamins (gimme all the vitamin C) but they’re easy to use and add your favorite spices and seasonings.
Tip: be sure to check out the labels of your canned tomatoes as they can sometimes come with extra sugar, salt and other additives. The fewer ingredients the better!
