I was not aware of the benefits of adding veggies to smoothies! My favorite is frozen zucchini! To improve digestion, I steam it gently, then freeze it after peeling. When you want to make a thicker smoothie without adding more fruit, use veggies with little flavor to fill in the gaps (in my opinion!)!

I’m so glad you’re trying more smoothies, Megan! That note is about pairing coffee with other fruits in smoothies; I don’t think it pairs well with other fruits (besides bananas and dates). Let me know what you think of the coffee smoothie!
